SOUND STUDIO

Listen, create, compose, collaborate. Breaking down the music we hear to build new sounds and songs.

Ages 9 - 15
Tuesdays 10am - 3pm
September 21 - December 6th, with no classes on October 6th or November 3rd. 
$550. Sliding-scale program fees are available for families who qualify.


HI-FI CLI-SCI

Critical and creative investigations into climate science. How do we make sense of our planet’s changing climate? Research, creative expression, scientific experimentation, and philosophical explorations.

Ages 9 - 15
Meets twice a week: Wednesdays and Fridays 10am- 4pm
September 23 - December 6, with no class on September 30th. 
$1300. Sliding-scale program fees are available for families who qualify.


SPACE 101

A weekly space by and for Hudson teens: youth-led media, music, cooking, conversations and campaigns.

Ages 13 and up
Thursdays 4pm - 7pm, as well as special events and workshops
September 24 - December 6
Free for Hudson teenagers. Donations welcome!

ALIMENTARY KITCHEN (w/ SPACE 101)

How do we truly feed a movement? Bringing people together. Spreading the word. Sustaining each other. Nourishing the movement.

Ages 13 and up
Thursdays 4pm - 7pm, as well as special events and workshops

Free for Hudson teenagers. Donations welcome!

RIVER CITY GARDEN:
ROOTS & REBELS GARDEN CLUB

Growing food and growing justice. Come get your hands dirty at the River City Garden!

Ages 7 - 15
Four Fridays: September 25, October 2nd, October 16th, and October 23rd
4pm - 6pm at the River City Garden
Free for Hudson residents. Donations welcome!


We also welcome back HATCH, a teaching cooperative of local homeschooling families hosted in the Kite's Nest space on Thursdays from 9:30am - 2:30pm for ages 12 and up. If your child is new to Kite's Nest:

1. Fill out this form, email hello@kitesnest.org, or call 518-945-8445.
2. We'll contact you shortly and plan to meet or speak on the phone to talk, answer your questions, and learn about your child.
3. We'll send you our registration form, to be returned with a deposit before the start of programs.

Sliding-scale program fees are available for families who qualify. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
